Bacon Pork Onion Roll

The pork bacon and onion roll we bought from Huber's Butcher makes dinner in about 15 minutes! This piece up there which cost about us two over dollars have all the seasoning and herb infused into the meat, all you need to do is to shallow fry with a little bit of olive oil till golden, add some steam vegetable and a generous chunk of horseraddish sauce to serve.

The Husband made 된장 찌개 Korean bean paste soup on this rainy sunday for us. Men's cooking doesnt comes with presentation but this taste really delicious and it does a good job of keeping us warm on this cold wet Sunday.

Cranberry Conflake Almond Cookie

Baking some cranberry cornflake almond cookie for CNY supplies with The Husband.

200 degree for 20min and there comes my cookies..

I added some rum flavouring in for my 2nd batch and it turn out even better.

Minimaos inspired poncho i got it from bugis village level 2.

Huber's Butchery

Since we are up at Dempsey, we dropped by Huber's to get some meat for samgyupsal (pork belly for BBQ), thin sirloin slice for bulgogi, dry rubbed herb ribs rack for grilling and onion wrapped pork for shallow fried.

Look much better then the Cornell mixer i initially wanted to get.

Brought my mummy whole bag of F21 plus size clothes i bought her. She is so happy and surprised that there are so much design available for plus size clothes in US!! :)

Nandos

My first visit to Nandos after they have opened for over a year.

Appetites Hummus with pita. Their Hummus is kind of sour, did they add sour cream in it? Prefered the one i tried in B bakery and Lebanese bar.

Quarter chicken for both of us, i picked the lemon and herbs while Michelle picked the mild spicy. Both taste heavenly great, chicken so juicy, soft tender, pinkish in color, very appetizing. 

Try not to pick couscous as your sides unless you love the intense flavour of GROUNDED star anise (star herbs).

Grilled vegetable looks like a better option.

Gonna bring the husband here some day :)

Killiney KPT

Our regular place for breakfast or brunch on satursday.

The strange thing is i work right beside but i only get to come only on weekend!

Since the TMAP (Centennial tower) times, i have been a fan for Killiney's curry chicken. Only if they sell plain curry with potatos only then this will be the perfect dish, i am not a meat person :) 

My new addiction: Kopi-O-C...  Drinking this every now and then, need this to keep me alert at work! Too many things going on..

Went collect our free gifts from the LG convection oven we bought.

There we got the LG oven cookbook, $45 worth of Tai Hua seasoning hamper and $65 worth of glass lock & lock container.

Saved a year or two of groceries money for seasoning

Very heavy but excellent for those color dying kimchi!

Lunch with buddy Jen at Bibigo, the new Korean place along Raffles Link. Crazily priced, crazily expensive, my first and last time paying so much for a hot pot bibimbab!

Each set cost $19 after the ++!! What the ... right??
I am having the beef with black pearl rice and criton soya sauce.

Jen is having chicken with barley white rice and sohot (red chili sauce).

Not much of flavour, bland.

Served by Korean doesnt make the food authentic or delicious.

 Had my first Lou Hei for this new year at Tanglin Club with colleagues, HUAT AH!!!

Super delicious butter chicken, this is got to be the most delectable masala butter chicken i had!! Ben's recommendation never goes wrong.. 

PS. Cafe

Sunday brunch at PS Cafe paragon in pior to my radiation scan in parkway health paragon.

The BIG doesnt comes BIG. They served quality protein but something is still lacking. We find this quite a discontented meal considering the amount we paid for. Proached egg doesnt taste like proached egg, dont think they proached it in vinegar water.

Doubt they even have a chef there (at Paragon), just stick to their cakes which is probably baked and send from their central kitchen somewhere else.

Had a great ladies call invitation with Elyna, Min and Mich at Marche 313.

Food, apart from dessert was great, people are great, more to come.
